Join the Movement to Improve Maternal Health Across Arkansas

The Doula Alliance of Arkansas (DA-AR) invites certified and aspiring doulas to become part of a powerful, professional network committed to advancing maternal health, supporting families, and raising the visibility of birth workers across Arkansas, including Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Hot Springs, and surrounding areas.

As a member, you’ll gain access to a nurturing community of doulas that values peer collaboration, ongoing professional development, and a shared mission to empower families during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. Whether you're newly trained or deeply experienced, your voice and your work matter in this statewide movement.

Who Can Join as a Doula Member?

Applications for Certified Doula members are open to doulas who either

  1. provide proof of completed doula training and certification, or

  2. who qualify and attest through the experiential pathway.

Applications for Student Doula members are open to those who are considering or are currently working towards their doula certification.

How to Join

  1. Complete the Membership Application by clicking the button below.

  2. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may take up to 8 weeks to process.

  3. Upon approval, you’ll receive:

    • A secure link to submit your dues

    • A copy of the DA-AR Code of Conduct to sign

    • Access to our members-only platform

    • A spot in our public Certified Doula Directory
      (for certified members only)

Membership Dues

  • Certified Doulas: $50 per year

  • Student Doulas (currently in training): $25 per year

If your application is not approved, you will be refunded your payment minus a $5 processing fee.
