Listing on our website for better accessibility for clients and provider referrals
Attend at least 2 of our 4 quarterly meetings per year. We will hold one in-person conference every year, all other meetings will be vitural or hybrid. These meetings will provide relevant news about doula work in our state, continuing education, community building, and networking opportunities.
Who can join as a doula member?
Individuals who have completed doula certification or training from an approved organization: Birthing Advocacy Doulas Training, CAPPA, Cornerstone Doula Training, DONA, Madriella, National Black Doulas Association, ProDoula, Stillbirthday and Ujima Maternity Network.
**applications for those who have completed training/certifications not on the list will also be accepted, and approved on a case-by case basis.
How to join
Fill out the membership application form by clicking the button below. Application review and processing can take up to 8 weeks.
Membership for Certified Doulas is $50 and $25 for Student Doulas who are currently pursuing certification. If your application is denied, you will be refunded your payment minus a $5 application processing fee .
When all is completed, you will sign DA-AR’s Code of Conduct agreement. Official members will receive an invite to our members-only platform. Certified Doulas will be added to our public website directory.
