Learning objectives 

  1. Recognize common presentations of PMADs and appropriate screening and referral considerations. 

Dr. Alexandria Young, LCSW, PMH-C, is a social worker, educator, and founder of Golden Hour Counseling Co., a practice centering trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. She also serves on the board of the Doula Alliance of Arkansas, supporting advocacy and collaboration within perinatal care spaces.

Alexandria holds a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) with a focus on social work education. Her work centers on perinatal mental health, reproductive justice, and equity-centered interdisciplinary training. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and real-world practice while supporting providers in delivering more responsive and affirming care across systems.

Attending will count as 1 CEU towards AR-CCBD
